Dan Renel

I attended Central Michigan University from 1976 to 1980. I was a member of the Men's Gymnastic Team and competed as a still ring specialist. In my senior year, I was elected one of the team captains. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance.

Upon Graduation, I entered the Insurance industry as a career agent with the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. I focused on young professionals and small business owners to develop Life Insurance, Income Protection and Employee Benefit Programs.

In 1987, I acquired an employee benefit firm, Group Design Services. I continued to market and service employee benefit plans for small to medium size business. In 1991, I completed courses from the American College for the Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU) designation. These advanced courses included estate taxation, financial and retirement services, etc.

In 1995, I incorporated Renel and Renel Associates. My father, Henry L. Renel, CLU started this company as we worked together since the mid 1980s. I am proud to carry on with his vision after he passed away in 1992.

I continue to serve both individuals and corporate insurance needs. As a broker, I can offer you the most competitive products available in the marketplace. I take pride in servicing my clientele as their needs change.

I live with my wife, Pam and two sons, Matthew and Joshua, in Rochester Hills, Michigan. I coach youth football in Rochester Hills and have been for 14 years.
